It’s been a long and difficult week for a lot of people. Most of the links I’ve accumulated for this week are not super happy fun awesome times links and I feel like we need some of that so–here is a picture of some pretty blue flowers in Japan.  And if you have something happy or fun or silly you’d like to share, please do so in the comments!

Oooboy, which from my list of I REQUIRE HAPPY THINGS shall I toss into the ring…

    1) Live streaming frolicking foster kittens:

    2) A llama pronking to DMX:
2a) The fact that I know somebody who keeps llamas and she went out of her way to let me know that that prancing motion is, in fact, called “pronking.”
2b) That llamas pronk only when content and really happy, so this vine is of a legitimately thrilled llama.

Today I had a three year-old student say to me, “I would totally eat a triangle.” I don’t know if that helps decrease the recent unpleasantness, but his cocksure grin as he said it certainly made the 37 degree heat slightly more tolerable.

That Where the Hell is Matt video has long been my favorite thing on the internet.

In a similiar vein, via Cat Hellisen’s twitter this morning:

Semi-self promoting as well (more my dog, actually) – Ethel and her best friend Blankie always make me grin. It’s a love affair for the ages.
