Pretty Terrible Links Roundup

I just love this painting by Amy Sol.  I could totally see her work on the cover of a book, couldn’t you?

Gay Talese PARTICIPATED in a sex crime and has the gall to wonder, “Had I become complicit in his strange and distasteful project?” and then set the question aside, as if the answer wasn’t YES, and the project wasn’t a CRIME. I couldn’t finish the article, I was so nauseated, not just at the total lack of ethics of Talese or his “subject,” but the fucking New Yorker for putting a big seal of approval on the whole thing.

EXCELLENT clarification–you’re absolutely right. I seriously considered using donotlink so they wouldn’t get the pageviews. Because the whole thing is revolting and sordid and criminal.

(Also, OMG I got to the tech-food article. Apparently when the right sort of men diet, it’s “biohacking.”)
