    Natalie, thank you so much for the link to the Wimsey essay. It is exactly what I needed at exactly this time. It’s long since time for me to return to 110A Picadilly.

    I think I’m glad I haven’t read the Walsh books, though.

    Oh, dear. Can’t spoil Sayers for me, but that seems a cruel way to treat an innocent scone. But that and the Chesterton article were interesting. I was pleasantly astonished by *The Man Who Was Thursday*. Both authors have their high points and their issues.

    I got my second full-time JOB using gopher, back in the day!
