Pretty Terrible

Pop Culture Criticism by Natalie Luhrs

Review Policy

We believe that reviews are for readers, not authors.

As former professional reviewers, we are not opposed to accepting review copies here at the Radish, but we are also committed to full disclosure—you’ll often notice that we’ll talk about buying the book or getting it as a gift in the body of the post or we’ll indicate at the end that the book was provided by the publisher. (Also, our traffic isn’t such that we are likely to be offered review books at this point–anything that’s coming in right now is remnants from Natalie’s time at RT.)

Receipt of a review copy does not guarantee a review.

Hello! I’m Natalie Luhrs. I write about books, culture, my health, and whatever else strikes my fancy. I have many opinions.

I am a two-time Hugo Award finalist, in 2017 for Best Fan Writer and in 2021 for my essay “George R.R. Martin Can Fuck Off Into the Sun, Or: The 2020 Hugo Awards Ceremony (Rageblog Edition)” in the Best Related Work category.
